Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow for Advanced Manufacturing Logistics to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in advanced manufacturing logistics, developing and implementing research activities, and collaborating with research teams and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in advanced manufacturing logistics and develop a research agenda
- Develop and implement research activities, including identifying sources of funding and preparing research proposals
- Collaborate with research teams and industry stakeholders to promote a team effort within the department
- Use research results to write reports, papers, and reviews, and present findings in journals and conferences
Requirements
- PhD in Advanced Manufacturing Logistics or a related field
- Knowledge of a subject/field and current research in a discipline housed in the department
- Abilities to develop effective research agenda, identify sources of funding, and promote a team effort
- Skills in scientific writing, project management, and teamwork
