Research Scientist for Logistics and Manufacturing

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the Advanced Manufacturing Logistics Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in advanced manufacturing logistics, developing and implementing research projects, and collaborating with industry stakeholders and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in advanced manufacturing logistics, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Develop and implement research projects, including designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders and government agencies to identify research opportunities and develop research proposals
- Write and submit research papers and reports, and present findings at conferences and seminars
- Assist in managing research grants and expenditures
- PhD in Advanced Manufacturing Logistics or a related field
- Knowledge of a subject/field and current research in a discipline housed in the department
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to design and implement research projects
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with industry stakeholders and government agencies
- Ability to acquire accurate, reproducible data and to write and submit research papers and reports
- Experience in research and development in advanced manufacturing logistics
- Knowledge of research funding opportunities and grant writing
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent project and time management skills
