Advanced Manufacturing Process Specialist

We are recruiting an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Process Specialist to drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamline production processes, and support new product introduction in our Chesterfield facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and skilled engineer to make a significant impact on process efficiency and product quality within a progressive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify, design, and implement CI projects across production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth NPI processes and optimize production workflows.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track improvements and support ongoing CI efforts.
- Conduct pilot production runs and prototyping to identify and mitigate potential process issues early.
- Assess and optimize production line layouts, material flow, and workstation setups for maximum efficiency.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to address process-related quality challenges.
- Educational background in Process, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably within electronics or a similar sector.
- Salary: £40,000 per annum
- Day-based working arrangement (Monday to Friday)
