Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the project planning and controls function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of projects.
- Staff management, development, and coaching responsibility, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Develop and maintain programs, project controls deliverables, and other time-related materials in conjunction with colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, professional teams, and supply chain partners.
- Contribute to pre-contract planning and work-winning initiatives.
- Maintain a deep understanding of strategic planning and project management systems, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Implement robust project controls, accurate reporting, and forecasting, providing early warnings and exceptions reporting.
- Excellent planning skills with a detailed understanding of construction methods and techniques.
- A can-do attitude, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven tender planning experience, with a strong track record of delivery phase planning and reporting.
- Working knowledge of NEC3 or 4, with advanced knowledge of planning techniques, including BIM model alignment into P6 (4D planning) via Synchro or equivalent.
- Knowledge of construction methods and techniques in the field of heavy civils.
