About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Cost Planner to join our team at Kier Group. As a Graduate Cost Planner, you will play a key role in assisting in the preparation and analysis of cost estimates and budgets for construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for projects.
  • Support the development of cost plans and feasibility studies to determine the financial viability of projects.
  • Analyse and review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand cost implications.
  • Work with project teams to monitor costs during the project lifecycle and provide regular updates on cost variations.

Requirements
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data.
  • Good understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage and analyse large amounts of data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within project teams and with clients.
  • Hold a full UK drivers licence.
