About the Role
As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study in one of our specialist schools.

Working independently and as part of a team, you will provide individualised support to pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing one-to-one support to pupils in the classroom and during activities
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of individualised education plans
  • Supporting pupils with their emotional and social needs
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective support system

About You
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people with autism and neurodiverse needs. You will have a drive and resilience for what can be a demanding role, and be able to use your initiative to problem-solve and adapt to changing situations.
