Job Overview

As a Teaching Assistant at Pond Meadow Academy Trust, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant, providing assistance to teachers and students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in the management of pupils and the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support the development of individualized education plans, working with students to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
• Provide care and support for students with special needs, including administering medication and participating in therapy programs.
• Supervise students during lunchtime and playground activities, promoting social skills and independence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support students through transitions and challenging times, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding policies.

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS clearance and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
