About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Client Solutions team in London. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our Credit business in EMEA, working closely with client-facing team members to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support team members on various aspects of client projects and Network Member engagement.
  • Recruit new experts to join GLG's insight network through targeted lead generation and timely outreach.
  • Build your understanding of client strategies, various industry sectors, and value chains to identify and vet the best experts for client projects.
  • Schedule and confirm critical calls and meetings between GLG's clients and Network Members.
  • Proactively engage with GLG's Network Members to understand their expertise and gauge their fit on client projects.
  • Collaborate closely with client-facing team members to expand projects and rescope of recruiting populations, to drive successful client outcomes.
What You Will Learn
  • Excel in a phone-based and highly challenging environment that demands attention to detail and prioritization of various workflows and execution on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Recruit and vet new relevant experts to the GLG Network, building your lead generation, outreach, screening, and pitching skills.
  • Develop strong, transferable business skills, including communication, time management, negotiating, problem-solving, project management, research, and the ability to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on and across both regional and global teams to contribute to revenue and broader commercial success.
  • Mentor future GLG Associates as you become tenured and proficient in your role.
Ideal Candidate
  • Confident and strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills, and motivation to work on the phone daily with Network Members and potential recruits.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, team environment which is fast-paced, where we strive to provide an excellent experience for experts and clients.
  • Ability to work responsibly and manage multiple, simultaneous tasks and prioritize effectively, given priorities shift quickly at GLG.
  • High motivation to exceed personal weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly digest and implement feedback and coaching.
  • Eagerness to learn about new topics, industries, and companies.
