Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our culinary team at Center Parcs. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our quality and presentation expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items to agreed standards, ensuring that every dish meets our quality and presentation expectations.
- Assist the Kitchen Managers with the general supervision and coaching of the Kitchen Assistants, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Deputise for the Kitchen Managers in their absence, maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is maintained to a high standard, adhering to company and legal requirements at all times.
- Support the Kitchen Managers with implementation and production of menus, procedures, and standards as required.
- Attend all company training as required for legal purposes, personal development, or development of new menus and dishes.
- Comply with guidelines and practices in respect of food safety as detailed in the Food Safety Manual.
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues.
- Kitchen Assistant experience.
- Naturally cheerful, patient, and friendly.
