Service Care Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Youth Welfare Worker to play a vital role in supporting children and young people. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing services that ensure the safety, well-being, and successful integration into permanent homes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Ensure Safety and Well-being: Deliver services that protect children and young people from harm and promote their overall well-being.
  2. Support and Assessment: Offer professional information, assessments, and support to children, young people, and their families.
  3. Partnership Working: Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve effective assessment and care planning.
  4. Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, analysing information critically and adhering to organisational safeguarding policies.
  5. Statutory Obligations: Fulfil statutory duties related to safeguarding concerns.
  6. Interagency Collaboration: Work with interagency teams to deliver integrated services to children and families with complex needs.
  7. Professional Growth: Develop expertise in specific areas of children's social care practice.
  8. Case Supervision: Oversee cases and provide guidance and support to colleagues.
Essential Qualifications
  • Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent; registration with Social Care England.
  • Continuing Professional Development: Demonstrate evidence of ongoing learning and professional growth.
  • Legislative Awareness: Possess knowledge of UK legislation relevant to Children and Families.
Salary Range

£30,000 - £45,000 per annum
