Support Worker Opportunity

Job Overview

Austin Fraser is recruiting a skilled Support Worker to join our team in South Ayrshire.

Compensation Package

The selected candidate will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £12, reflecting the importance of this role in providing excellent resident care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide tailored personal care support to residents, encompassing bathing, dressing, and continence care.
  2. Assist with daily living activities, including meal service and beverage preparation.
  3. Regularly observe and report any changes in residents' health or well-being to the relevant staff member.
  4. Swiftly respond to call bells and address residents' needs efficiently.
  5. Play a vital role in enhancing the physical, educational, and psychological wellbeing of all residents.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
  • SVQ 2 qualification or willingness to pursue this certification.
  • Registration with the SSSC or preparedness to enroll.
  • Familiarity with and adherence to Social Care Codes of Practice.
  • Effective communication skills.
Work Schedule and Conditions

Care Assistants will work on a full-time basis, with a combination of day and night shifts (12 hours each) on a rolling rota system.

Please be aware that although every attempt will be made to accommodate shift preferences, this cannot be guaranteed.
