Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a proactive Junior Health and Safety Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across our parking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement robust health and safety policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to all levels.
  4. Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure EHS policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
  5. Ensure working practices are safe and comply with Company policy and relevant legislation.
  6. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Keep records of site inspection/audit findings and produce reports that identify non-compliances and suggest improvements.
  8. Stay up-to-date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive legislation and any developments that may affect the parking/security/enforcement industry.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and safety role.
  2. Relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH/IEMA).
  3. A proactive and hands-on approach to health and safety management.
  4. Able to design and deliver presentations, produce written reports, and analyse data.
