Finance Manager Opportunity

Page Personnel is working closely with a forward-thinking, industry-leading business based in Crewe. This is an exciting time for the company, and they are seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the Sage accounting system to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage the Purchase Order Control system and ensure its smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with the management team to create an annual budget.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closedowns in Sage, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile the General Ledger, Balance Sheet, and Cashbook to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger, ensuring effective debt management.
  • Produce monthly financial and management accounts, as well as monthly job costing reports.
  • Provide cash flow reporting and attend weekly cash flow meetings.
  • Liaise with external accountants for year-end statutory accounts production.
  • Reconcile and submit Quarterly VAT returns.
  • Manage the company pension scheme and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Fully AAT qualified or qualified by experience is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAGE is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Ability to work independently to drive improvements is essential.
  • Good leadership skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships are required.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel is necessary.

This role offers a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, as well as benefits including flexible working, career progression prospects, study support, free on-site parking, holidays increasing with service, company pension scheme, and work social events.
