The role of Commercial Finance Manager is crucial to our UK EV entity. Responsibilities include all aspects of the entity, commercial reporting for the department, and full ownership of accounts production adhering to group deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and sign off of weekly Management Reporting and analysis.
  • Identification of business risks and performance of monthly control procedures, including Purchase Reconciliations.
  • Commercial review and analysis of job-by-job margins, with the ability to clearly explain variances to key stakeholders.
  • Production and presentation of monthly performance analysis, including commercial and financial reporting.
  • Support the head of finance in annual budgeting and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement strong controls and procedures within the finance area.

Requirements

  • CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification; PQ or QBE candidates with commercial business partnering experience will be considered.
  • Commercial acumen, strong technical accounting skills, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience interacting across all levels of the organisation, dealing with non-finance people to gather relevant information.
  • Previous success enhancing business performance through business partnering support.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and V-Look Up.
  • Experience with Sage, Oracle Financials, or similar accounting systems.
