Job Title: Non-Executive Director

We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced individuals to join our Board of Directors as Non-Executive Directors. As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization and ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role

As a Non-Executive Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing constructive challenge and support to the Chief Executive and Executive Directors
  • Seeking assurance over the performance of the Trust
  • Developing positive and productive relationships with the Council of Governors
  • Embodying the values of the Trust and its clinically-led and management-supported philosophy
Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Clinical qualification or sound knowledge of NHS finance
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to understand complex strategic issues
  • Sound knowledge of corporate governance and clear understanding of the legal duties, liabilities, and responsibilities of Non-Executive Directors
  • Board-level experience and ability to work with and influence senior leaders in the NHS
