About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Associate Non-Executive Director to join our Board. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the strategy, performance, risk, people management, and local accountability of the Trust.
  • Constructively challenge the performance of the Trust, with a specific focus on equality.
  • Ensure the Trust complies with key legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the Trust's framework of patient and staff risk management is robustly enacted and constructed.
  • Participate in the appointment and succession planning of the Chief Executive and other senior management at the Trust.
  • Participate in Board training, development, and evaluation on both an individual and a collective basis.
  • Work with the Trust's Senior Independent Director on the annual performance evaluation of the Chairman.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with proven experience at Board or senior management level, with a strong track record of leadership in large and complex organizations. You will have a sound knowledge of good corporate and clinical governance, strong commercial acumen, and experience in leading organizational change and growth.

You will also have an understanding of strategic planning, risk, and performance management and be accustomed to holding a high level of accountability with an ability to look beyond organizational and/or geographical boundaries.
