About Us

The National Oceanography Centre is a world-leading research institution dedicated to advancing our understanding of the ocean and its impact on our planet.

We are seeking three new Non-Executive Directors to join our Board and contribute to our mission of gaining deeper knowledge of the ocean.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to our research and innovation activities
  • Contribute to the development of our research agenda and priorities
  • Support our efforts to engage with government, industry, and the wider community

Requirements

  • Strong background in marine science, research, or a related field
  • Experience in governance, leadership, or management
  • Ability to commit to a 3-year term and attend regular Board meetings
