Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Credit Controller to join our team at Rokstone Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing credit control transactions, cash collection, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and issue monthly broker statements of accounts.
  2. Allocate funds received and request closings and slips from Brokers.
  3. Pursue debtors frequently by telephone, email, and team meetings to secure payment.
  4. Identify and escalate NOC from aged debt.
  5. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to progress the collection process.
  6. Be responsible for engaging and chairing regular meetings with each business unit to address any credit control issues and escalations.
  7. Provide oversight to existing processes, challenging any redundant requirements as the model evolves and ensuring we deliver continuous improvements.
  8. Analyse and identify inconsistencies record errors in booked premiums, and liaise with the technical team to correct booked entries.
  9. Resolution of unallocated cash, provide constructive feedback on issues which have resulted in misposting to unallocated cash.
  10. Ad hoc duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  1. General Insurance, Credit Control background.
  2. Need to have at least 2 years of insurance experience working in the finance department.
  3. Analytical problem-solving approach, ability to identify and analyse problems, create and implementing solutions, decision-making skills.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to complete large complex reconciliations on Broker accounts.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and conversing with external clients.
  6. Knowledge and experience with Sequel Eclipse is a positive but not essential.
  7. Proactive and a team player, with time management skills and meeting deadlines.
  8. Ability to multitask and meet SLAs.
