Job Title: Recruitment and HR Support Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our in-house recruitment team as a Recruitment and HR Support Apprentice. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, preboarding, and onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the recruitment team in managing candidate inquiries, answering phone calls, and directing queries to the correct contact.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with candidates and internal teams to manage interviews and inductions.
  • Work with the Onboarding Development Coach to ensure that all new starter data is updated into the HR System and that individual electronic employee files are created and completed with all the relevant onboarding information for all new employees.
  • Ensure hiring manager and associated team/s are ready to welcome new staff members and that departmental inductions, buddy's, equipment, IT access, and required training are in place.
  • Initiate, build, and maintain relationships with prospective candidates to promote Prior's Court as a great place to work.
  • Provide support to all new joiners in connection with the e-learning required prior to start date, liaising with the training department as and when necessary, providing information to payroll as required.
  • Support the HR team in ensuring all Right To work approvals are in place for all staff who work on a visa or have a temporary leave to remain.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well (written & verbal).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and use own initiative.
  • Organized to take independent action to fulfill tasks but can also work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Can work accurately with attention to detail.
  • Understands what great customer service/experience is and has the ability to deliver it.
  • Can pay attention, interact, and support a conversation, probing for further information when required.
  • Willing to take instruction and learn/develop within the role.
  • Basic use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook if possible.
Qualifications:

Achievement of GCSE Grade 5 or above in English & Maths (or equivalent).
