Business Administrator Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Recruitment and HR team as a Business Administrator Apprentice.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the effective preboarding and onboarding processes for new staff members, ensuring a smooth transition into their new roles.
- Collaborate with the Onboarding Development Coach and HR & Recruitment Coordinator to ensure completion of all compliance activity surrounding new appointments, including Right to work, DBS, and Safeguarding Checks.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with candidates and internal teams to manage interviews and inductions.
- Update new starter data in the HR System and create individual electronic employee files with all relevant onboarding information.
- Ensure hiring managers and associated teams are ready to welcome new staff members, with departmental inductions, buddy's, equipment, IT access, and required training in place.
- Provide support to new joiners with e-learning required prior to start date, liaising with the training department as needed.
- Support the HR team in ensuring all Right To work approvals are in place for staff working on a visa or with temporary leave to remain.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well (written & verbal).
- Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and use own initiative.
- Organized to take independent action to fulfil tasks but can also work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Can work accurately with attention to detail.
- Understands what great customer service/experience is and has the ability to deliver it.
- Basic use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Qualifications: Achievement of GCSE Grade 5 or above in English & Maths (or equivalent).
