Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pet Claims Assessor to join our team. As a Pet Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing pet insurance claims efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Assessment: Review and process pet insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
  • Customer Communication: Work closely with veterinary practices and customers to gather necessary information for claims assessment.
  • Claims Settlement: Ensure claims are settled swiftly, within Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and identify any potential fraudulent claims for referral.
  • Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service by providing clear, prompt communication and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, products, and systems to help explain cover details to customers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Qualified Veterinary Nurse or experienced Pet Claims Assessor with relevant industry experience.
  • Skills: Excellent phone and communication skills, high attention to detail, strong IT and data entry skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attitude: A flexible, proactive approach to work and a willingness to embrace new tasks and challenges.
