About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Communications Manager to join our Customer, Brand & Engagement (CB&E) function. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose of Banking - but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver effective risk governance models for Nationwide's communication risks and controls.
  • Develop and implement regular, succinct, and meaningful risk reporting to enable Accountable Executives to understand and manage their communications risks and controls effectively.
  • Support the Head of Risk in understanding and monitoring critical control improvement plans and issue management profiles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Society to ensure our communications have the greatest impact for our customers.
About You
  • Strong understanding of risk, policy, and process governance and its application across the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, to a high standard.
  • Strong understanding of controls in relation to risk, policy, and process management.
  • Good understanding of the SM&CR and associated regulatory requirements.
