Care Home Team Leader Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our care home team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for promoting resident independence and supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote resident independence and support their physical and emotional wellbeing
  • Lead a team to deliver high standards of care and respect, fostering dignity and choice for residents
  • Support carers in assisting with daily activities, personal care, and meal assistance
  • Administer medication safely and accurately
  • Maintain care plans and keep records updated
  • Ensure residents' dignity and independence are always prioritized

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

  • Essential: Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3) and at least one year of experience in a care home environment
  • Preferred: Two years experience in a similar role and an NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care
  • Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, caring nature, and good time management skills
  • Additional Requirements: Must live within 20 minutes of the home and have a valid driver's license

Our care home is located in LE16, offering a supportive and rewarding work environment.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £14.67 per hour, plus incentives, resulting in a competitive annual salary of approximately £30,000 - £35,000 based on full-time hours.
