Care Team Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of a children's residential home in Birmingham. This role involves leading a team to provide exceptional care for children and young people while ensuring compliance with relevant care standards and fostering a supportive, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the operations of the residential home, ensuring a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children and young people.
  • Ensure compliance with The Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and other care standards.
  • Supervise and support staff, promoting professional care and practices tailored to the needs of each young person.
  • Plan and implement care programmes in collaboration with schools, social workers, and other professionals.
Requirements:
  • Proven managerial experience in children's residential care or a similar setting.
  • Relevant qualifications Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory standards, and health & safety requirements.
Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
