Embryologist in Assisted Conception Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Embryologist to join our team at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust. As an Embryologist in Assisted Conception, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality fertility services.

Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of fertility services, delivering over 7,500 babies and 49,000 gynaecological procedures annually.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine embryological procedures, including semen analysis, sperm preparation, oocyte and embryo handling, and cryopreservation. You will also conduct clinical intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and other micromanipulation techniques.

  • Perform routine embryological procedures.
  • Conduct clinical intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
  • Work flexibly, performing tasks as and when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent qualification from an EU University.
  • Certificate in Clinical Embryology awarded by the Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE) or Institute of Biology.
  • Experience within the field of assisted conception and reproductive medicine.
  • Research experience.
