Children's Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in High Wycombe. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children, young people, and their families.
About the RoleAs a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to our service users and their families.
You will have a strong background in mental health nursing, occupational therapy, or social work, with experience of working with children, young people, and families. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, including therapists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with service users and their families
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, including psycho-educational advice and practical support
- Work closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to service users and their families
- Contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, providing supervision and support to other team members
- Participate in service development and evaluation, including the development of new services and programs

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner who meets the following criteria:
- Relevant professional mental health qualification as Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker
- Current registration with relevant professional body: NMC, HCPC, BACP
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Postgraduate qualification in therapeutic modality e.g. IAPT CBT
