Job Overview

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in High Wycombe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services to children, young people, and their families.

Main Duties

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for initial assessments, delivery, and evaluation of care. You will provide psycho-educational advice and practical support to young people and their families, drawing on evidence-based interventions and using a collaborative, recovery-focused approach.

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified mental health professional with experience of being a care coordinator or managing a caseload. You should have significant post-qualifying mental health experience and a working knowledge of community services. You should also be able to formulate policies and procedures, assess and manage risk, and communicate effectively with patients, carers, and staff.
