The successful candidate can expect a salary of £31,650 - £49,084 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

The SEN Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to students aged 11-16, adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with SEN and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching and Assessment: Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles, ensuring effective student progress and well-being.
  2. Leadership and Support: Lead and mentor Teaching Assistants and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants, promoting equality and implementing school policies.
  3. Student Progress and Well-being: Monitor student progress, focusing on both academic and emotional development, and build strong relationships with students to support their learning journey.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a QTS or QTLS qualification, experience teaching pupils with SEN, and knowledge of EHCPs.
