Leading Health and Safety Expert for Innovative Manufacturing

Join Recreo Global as a pioneering Health and Safety Manager to oversee health and safety across multiple manufacturing sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and fostering a culture of safety within the organisation.
About the RoleThis position reports directly to the Operations Director, requiring strong analytical skills to develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and support to foster a positive safety culture.
Main Responsibilities- Policymaking and Implementation: Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Training and Guidance: Provide ongoing training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols, ensuring thorough understanding and strict adherence to standards.
- Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with other managers to integrate health and safety considerations into operational planning, equipment usage, and work processes to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality and operational standards.
- Risk Assessments and Method Statements: Plan, prepare, and review risk assessments and method statements for all work activities to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
The successful candidate will have a NEBOSH Diploma or an equivalent qualification in health and safety management, with experience in a similar role within an engineering/manufacturing environment. Additionally, they should possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
