About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Lead to join our team at our Ossett site. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with production teams to deliver high-quality engineering services in support of operational targets.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team to provide engineering support to manufacturing operations.
  • Achieve team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to equipment performance, reliability, breakdown, and maintenance completion.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices within the team.
  • Participate in root cause analysis assessments and contribute to the development of PPM systems.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working within a FMCG environment, preferably in a similar role or discipline.
  • A time-served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical Engineering HND/HNC/BTech or equivalent experience.
  • High-level fault-finding experience, with PLC fault-finding skills being a desirable asset.

  • An estimated annual salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience.
