Children's Home Registered Manager

Preston

Up to £60,000

Information:

As a Registered Manager, you will oversee the safe operation and management of a children's residential care home that specializes in support for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). The home is a 4-bedded children's home, rated GOOD by Ofsted. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, ensuring that all young people have bespoke care plans, and providing 24/7 support.

Package:

  • Up to £59,500
  • Up to £45,000, + £14,500 in bonuses
  • £7,500 welcome bonus
  • Up to £5,000 OFSTED rating bonus
  • £1,000 qualification bonus
  • £1,000 occupancy bonus

Working Hours and Contract:

Monday - Friday, 9-5, + on calls

Full-time, permanent

Duties:

  • Work with the Residential Inspector to manage the children's residential care home
  • Hold OFSTED registration for the children's home
  • Manage the residential service, offering expert support to young people with EBD
  • Build and develop the staff team
  • Manage the residential staff team, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers
  • Ensure the service meets OFSTED standards
  • Manage recruitment and staffing
  • Work with the Senior Management Team to ensure the service implements company policies and procedures
  • Manage quality assurance
  • Manage budget
