Children's Home Registered Manager

Job Summary:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our children's residential care home in Preston. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and effective management of the service, ensuring that all young people receive high-quality care and support.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a children's residential care home, with a strong focus on delivering excellent care and support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide the best possible care to our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the children's residential care home
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers
  • Ensure that the service meets Ofsted standards and regulations
  • Manage the budget and resources of the service
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure that the service is aligned with the company's policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of managing a children's residential care home
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work closely with the Senior Management Team
