About the Role:
Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our children's residential care home in Preston. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and effective management of the home, ensuring that all young people receive high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the residential service, providing expert support to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Hold Ofsted registration for the children's home and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the service meets Ofsted standards
- Manage a team of residential staff, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers
- Recruit and train staff to ensure the service has the necessary skills and expertise
- Work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure the service implements company policies and procedures
- Manage the budget and ensure the service operates within financial constraints
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing a children's residential care home or similar setting
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with young people, staff, and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality assurance processes
- Ability to work flexibly, including on-call duties
