Job Title: Registered Manager

Location: Moorfield House, Preston (PR1)

Job Summary:

Hexagon Care Services is a leading provider of therapeutic residential childcare, with over 50 children's homes, 5 crisis intervention services, and 14 schools across England. We are seeking a Children's Home Manager to lead our Moorfield House team, providing a medium to long-term therapeutic care environment for up to 2 young people with SEMH.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and commercial leader who can motivate and develop their staff team to ensure the best care experience for our young people. As a Registered Manager, you will have the vision and leadership to take this home forward, with the backing and support from your service manager and a supportive head-office team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Moorfield House team to deliver high-quality care and support to our young people
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people
  • Work closely with our in-house therapist and head-office team to ensure a therapeutic model of care
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective operation of the home
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience working in the residential childcare sector since October 2019
  • Leadership or deputy management experience
  • Ability to motivate and develop staff team
  • Commercial and compassionate leadership skills
