About the Role

Cloud Imperium Games Limited is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to join our European Finance team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and overseeing the treasury function, managing cash flow forecasting across multiple currencies, and taking ownership of the company's banking and lending relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Treasury Management: Collaborate with the VP of Finance and CFO to develop and implement treasury strategies, processes, policies, and controls.
  • Treasury Operations: Perform treasury tasks, including bank account reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and other ad-hoc analysis/projects.
  • Cash Management: Ensure accurate and efficient cash management, including analysis of working capital requirements.
  • Excess Cash Utilization: Ensure excess cash balances are utilized in the most efficient manner, including placing on deposit with as close to zero risk as possible.
  • Bank Relationships: Manage relationships with banks and review financing activities and covenant performance.
  • FX Exposure Management: Monitor rolling transactional FX exposures for the group and implement FX hedging according to the group's FX policy in collaboration with the CFO.
  • Interest Rate Risk Management: Take ownership of the group's interest rate risk.
  • Intercompany Treasury: Manage intercompany treasury, including dividends and loans, and any borrowing or bond facilities where applicable.
Requirements
  • Experience: Solid experience working in a treasury function in a large business.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of corporate treasury management, including complex legal entity and bank account structures, cash pooling concepts, cash flow projections, and associated risk management.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen.
  • Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Credibility and Confidence: Credibility and confidence to deal with executive and senior management.
  • Team Player: Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
