Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Specialist to join our team at BT Group. As a Power Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage power systems, including lighting, transformers, and UPS. You will also be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cooling and refrigeration systems, including adiabatic and F-Gas systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize expertise and knowledge in low power systems to repair, install, and maintain low power circuits.
  • Install, maintain, and repair chilling equipment, including adiabatic and F-Gas systems.
  • Execute all required work, considering H&S, despite the challenges and environment.
  • Drive own performance, ensuring effective contribution to wider team measures.
  • Lead in a supervisory role, where required.
Requirements
  • Electrical competency City & Guilds 2360 parts 1+2 or equivalent NVQ.
  • BTEC Electrical Engineering Level 3/HNC/HND/MOET Level 3/ET Level 3.
  • Inspection, Testing and Verification (C&G 2392-10).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
  • Demonstrable experience of repairing and maintaining Air Conditioning Split systems.
  • Experience of working with DC power systems.
  • Coaching/mentoring/supervisory experience.
