About the role:

We are expanding our womenswear design team and seeking a Senior Knitwear Designer to join our passionate design team at Nobody's Child.

You will work closely with the wider team to execute our clothing ranges, delivering seasonal key items, trends, details, and colour, as well as having a keen eye for print trends.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively with the design team to build and present concepts for the season, supporting with collection moodboards and colour palettes.
  • Keeping up-to-date with new trends and opportunities in the market, while building collections for our wholesale partners.
  • Sustainability will be at the forefront of the design process, from sourcing innovative fabrics and trims to designing for longevity.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include working closely with the Design Manager and Director of Design to execute range development end-to-end from briefs given, as well as working collaboratively with all in-house departments.

You'll bring:

  • A graduate fashion degree and industry experience in a similar role at senior level, supporting a team.
  • A can-do attitude, with strong drive and energy to deliver.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • IT design skills in Illustrator/CAD/InDesign.
  • A strong understanding of technical design packs and commercial garment construction, fabric construction, and trims.
  • A commitment and passion to deliver responsible, thoughtful design.
