Financial Assistant with Purchasing Expertise

Purchase Ledger Assistant needed for a 37.5-hour full-time position at Hillier Nurseries Ltd, a family business championing green living spaces.
About Us:
Hillier Nurseries Ltd has grown over 150 years, staying true to its horticultural roots. As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance team.
Responsibilities:
This role involves clearing/matching invoices with purchase orders using EPOS system, processing claims for credit notes, and reconciling supplier statements. Additionally, you will input manual invoice/credit note data ensuring VAT compliance, manage the purchase ledger inbox, and perform general office duties.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have practical experience working in a fast-paced finance department and be IT literate with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.
Benefits:
