About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing data collections across the full range of heritage science and conservation research, working closely with stakeholders and users of our facilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing data collections in heritage science and conservation research
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and users of our facilities
  • Reporting to the HSDS Service Manager and working with the Head of Collections Development
  • Line management and allocation of tasks to Digital Archives Officers and Assistants

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of the heritage science and conservation sector
  • Strong IT skills and excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in a management role and writing reports or funding applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively and deliver a quality service

Desirable Qualifications

A graduate qualification in archaeology, heritage science and conservation or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience is desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The university offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
