Senior CRM Lead

We're Craft Gin Club, a leading spirit subscription business in the UK. As we celebrate our tenth year, we're seeking an experienced CRM and Retention Lead to join our passionate marketing team. This role will focus on developing and implementing CRM and retention strategies to engage and activate customers, keeping us top of mind.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the D2C eComm subscription world, with advanced experience in marketing automation platforms like Ometria. They will be responsible for driving improvements in customer lifetime value and retention, with a strong understanding of email marketing best practices and database segmentation techniques.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our business. You will report directly to the CMO and have a small team to lead, with opportunities to scale as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement CRM and retention strategies to attract, engage, and retain members
- Drive key business results through the initial onboarding process, member referrals, and customer engagement
- Craft personalized, segmented campaigns to bring the customer value proposition to life
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, channel best practices, and emerging technologies
- Oversee key subscription metrics, including retention rates, churn rates, and AOV
- Lead A/B testing programs to optimize campaign results
- Work closely with marketing colleagues to ensure strategic alignment and campaign implementation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in CRM and retention in the D2C eComm subscription world
- Advanced experience in marketing automation platforms like Ometria
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and database segmentation techniques
- Experience driving improvements in customer lifetime value and retention
- Knowledge of key subscription metrics and strategies to optimize customer subscription journeys
