Lead a High-Performing Legal Team

Robert Half Careers is seeking an accomplished General Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance and oversight to our rapidly growing tech/telecoms firm based in the UK. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate governance, risk management, and commercial agreements.

The salary for this position is £100,000 - £110,000 per annum, plus bonus, reflecting the importance of this role within our organisation.

Duties:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level legal counsel to senior executives and operational management on various matters, including corporate governance, risk management, and commercial agreements.
  • Negotiate and execute strategically important commercial agreements with leading global companies across the UK, Europe, and the US.
  • Pursue the company's IP strategy by identifying, protecting, and exploiting business-critical technology, while securing key relationships with technology partners.
  • Manage and resolve customer claims and disputes efficiently.
  • Establish a robust legal services framework, comprising policies, procedures, training, and development programmes.
Requirements:
  • A practising solicitor or barrister, qualified in the UK and registered with the SRA or Bar Association.
  • Broad generalist experience, with expertise spanning multiple areas of law, including corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and litigation.
