About the Job

This Contract Music Technology Assessor role offers a unique opportunity to work as an independent contractor, marking candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency in their marking, while meeting designated milestones and administration tasks.

You will have the flexibility to work from home using ePEN technology, although a few subjects may require traditional paper script marking. This role requires fluency in both English and Welsh languages.

Responsibilities
  • To mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
  • To adhere to milestones for marking and administration tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, relevant to the subject.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme effectively.
