About the Role

Warner Music Group is seeking an experienced contract specialist to join our Atlantic Records team. As a key member of our legal and business affairs department, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts with production companies, photographers, designers, and other industry professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an in-house music legal team or private practice law firm, with a strong understanding of intellectual property law and commercial acumen. A degree in law (LLB) and sound communication skills are also essential.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, from music videos to live performances, while providing expert support to our creative and marketing teams. If you're passionate about the music industry and possess excellent attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for various artistic collaborations.
  • Providing legal and business advice to ensure compliance with copyright and performers' rights laws.
  • Supporting the preparation of deal memos, contract summaries, and other necessary documentation.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to achieve business objectives.
