Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Music Agent Assistant to join our team at THE MUSIC MARKET.

Job Responsibilities
  • Raise, proofread, and issue large volumes of contracts using bespoke contracting software.
  • Handle tax reduction opportunities through splitting contracts/invoices.
  • Manage show payments, tax deductions, and VAT etc.
  • Gain an understanding of tax documents to reduce performance tax, VAT numbers from Promoters where applicable, and obtain necessary documents.
  • Update and oversee database records.
  • Maintain a digital filing system for easy accessibility of paperwork.
  • Update the company's website and Artist pages with tour dates, biographies, photos, and ensure all details are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Raise applications for Artist UK work permits and oversee the visa application process.
  • Support general office needs such as answering telephone calls and occasional reception cover.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience issuing and checking live performance Artist contracts.
  • Knowledge of performance tax and VAT, and experience chasing payments.
  • Competence with logistical planning.
  • Able to maintain digital organisation and database record keeping to a high standard.
  • Proficient user of Mac computers and Apple Mail (desirable).
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel and Word (desirable).
  • Knowledge of online productivity tools such as Google Drive/Docs/Sheets and Dropbox (essential).
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
