We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at THE MUSIC MARKET. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing contracts across the booking process, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with regulations.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned contracts professional to join a thriving music booking agency. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the success of the agency by managing complex contracts and providing expert advice on live events and commercial/agency contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract management and oversight across the booking process
  • Collaboration with colleagues to ensure effective contract execution
  • Drafting, reviewing, and issuing Terms of Business to new clients
  • Negotiation, drafting, and issuance of contracts for domestic and international performances
  • Reviewing Offer Letters for shows and festivals
  • Summarising rights and advising team on legal obligations
  • Training and mentoring the Contracts Assistant
  • Collaboration with the Finance Manager on international tax management
  • Contract template updates and review

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in contracting roles within the music industry
  • Sound knowledge of live events and commercial/agency contracts
  • Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex contracts and projects
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Compensation Package:

THE MUSIC MARKET offers a competitive salary, ranging from £50,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for career growth, and professional development.
