Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Case Handler to join our team at Somewhat and Associates, a leading provider of expert witness services for clinical negligence and personal injury litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of medico-legal cases from reservation through to trial or settlement.

As a key member of our operations team, you will have the opportunity to work with internal teams, external expert witnesses, and clients to deliver exceptional results. You will be responsible for interpreting client instructions and expert requests, managing case events, and overseeing the arrangement of all expert events required by the court.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize their workload efficiently. They will be articulate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate assertiveness in dealing with various stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with our expert witnesses, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of cases. As Case Handler, you will enjoy a competitive salary, ranging between £40,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including 31 days holiday per year (including bank holidays), individualized training opportunities, free employee assistance support, hybrid working arrangements after qualifying period, private healthcare after qualifying period, increasing pension contributions with service, on-site electric vehicle charger, free on-site parking, and refreshments.
