We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant to join our Litigation and Employment departments. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive support across both departments, assisting with case management and client service delivery.

This hybrid role involves preparing draft correspondence and legal documents, managing new client enquiries and compliance matters, and maintaining case files and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting fee earners with case management from inception to conclusion
  2. Preparing draft correspondence and legal documents
  3. Managing new client enquiries and compliance matters
  4. Maintaining case files and documentation
  5. Assisting with court bundle preparation and pagination
  6. Supporting client meetings and taking attendance notes
  7. Conducting legal research under supervision
  8. Helping with business development activities
  9. Using our case management system (LEAP)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Litigation and/or Employment law preferred
  • Understanding of legal procedures in general litigation and employment matters
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of court procedures and deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of confidentiality and professional conduct requirements
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Salary: £28,000 per annum
