SHEQ Manager Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive SHEQ Manager to lead the implementation of the highest standards in Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality across all operations in a large manufacturing site.
You'll work closely with site management to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and best practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive SHEQ compliance across the business, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and ensure all operations are compliant. Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and reduce workplace hazards. Develop and deliver comprehensive SHEQ training for staff, contractors, and visitors. Collaborate with management to design and maintain effective policies and procedures. Investigate and address any incidents or near-misses in a timely manner.
Key Requirements:
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Health and Safety, with at least 3 years in manufacturing, ideally in a heavy industry.
Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9000 standards. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Strong organisational abilities and proficiency in MS Office.
