SHEQ Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive SHEQ Manager to lead the implementation of the highest standards in Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality across all operations in a large manufacturing site. You’ll work closely with site management to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and best practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive SHEQ compliance across the business, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and ensure all operations are compliant.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and reduce workplace hazards.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive SHEQ training for staff, contractors, and visitors.
  • Collaborate with management to design and maintain effective policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and address any incidents or near-misses in a timely manner.

Key Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Health and Safety, with at least 3 years in manufacturing, ideally in a heavy industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9000 standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
