About the Role

Join us as an SEN Teaching Assistant and make a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs in a lovely school in the Portsmouth area.

The school provides a nurturing environment for Primary aged children with complex needs, including Social and Communication difficulties, Speech and Language needs, learning difficulties, and Autism.

As the successful candidate, you will work closely with experienced teachers to deliver tailored support and help children reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy, adapting materials and activities to suit individual needs.
  • Promote inclusion and diversity within the school community, respecting the individuality of each student.

What We Offer:

  1. A competitive salary of £20,000-£25,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  2. Part-time or full-time temporary positions, working during term time with hours from 08:30 - 15:30.
  3. The possibility of making this role permanent may become available at a later date.
